Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect when you play Alpha Lizard: Trading Game (the "Game"), why we collect it and what rights you have. We wrote it to be read, not skimmed; if something is unclear, write to [email protected].
1. Who we are
The data controller is ADZ BOOST, SVETOVANJE, d.o.o., Slovenska cesta 58, 1000 Ljubljana, Slovenia (identification number 9749969000, tax number 17854083) ("we", "us"). Contact for privacy matters: [email protected].
2. What the Game is — and is not
The Game is a game with trading elements. Rounds replay historical price charts; you play with virtual chips. No real money is traded, no real orders are placed, chips cannot be withdrawn, and we do not provide financial services. We therefore do not collect bank, card or brokerage details, and we do not ask for identity documents.
3. Data we collect
- Guest account. When you first open the Game we create a guest player profile tied to an identifier generated on your device. It lets you keep your progress without signing up.
- Linked account. If you choose to save your progress, you can link your profile with Sign in with Apple, Google Sign-In or an email address. We receive the identifier the provider gives us, and, if you allow it, your name and email address (Apple lets you hide your email; we respect that choice).
- Game data. Your progress, chip balance, round history, streaks, leaderboard position, display name and in-game settings, stored on our servers so that you can continue on another device.
- Purchases. If you buy chips or other in-game items, the purchase is processed by Apple or Google. We receive a transaction identifier, the product bought and its status (for example refunded) so that we can deliver and support the purchase. We never receive your payment card or bank details.
- Analytics and attribution. To understand how the Game is used and where installs come from, we use attribution and analytics providers. They may process device and app identifiers, device model and operating system, language and region, app version, and in-app events (such as "round started"). On iOS, tracking across other apps and websites happens only if you allow it in the App Tracking Transparency prompt.
- Technical logs. Our servers keep logs of requests (IP address, timestamp, endpoint, error codes) to keep the service running, detect abuse and fix bugs.
- Support. If you email us, we keep the correspondence and the details you provide to resolve your request.
4. Why we process it and on what legal basis
- To run the Game for you — accounts, progress, chips, purchases, support. Legal basis: performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- To keep the Game secure and working — logs, abuse and cheating prevention, crash fixing. Legal basis: our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- To measure and improve the Game and our marketing — analytics and attribution. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in understanding how the Game is used; and your consent where the law or the platform requires it (for example, cross-app tracking on iOS).
- To comply with the law — tax and accounting records for purchases, responding to lawful requests. Legal basis: legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR).
We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on you.
5. Who we share data with
- Apple and Google — sign-in and in-app purchases, under their own privacy policies.
- Attribution and analytics providers — install attribution and product analytics, acting on our instructions under data processing agreements.
- Hosting and infrastructure providers — servers and databases that store Game data, located in the European Union.
- Authorities — where we are legally required to.
We do not share your data with advertisers for their own purposes.
6. Where data is stored and international transfers
Game data and server logs are stored in the European Union. Some providers (for example Apple, Google, or attribution and analytics providers) may process data outside the EU/EEA. Where that happens, we rely on an adequacy decision of the European Commission or on the Standard Contractual Clauses, together with additional safeguards where needed.
7. How long we keep data
- Guest and linked accounts, progress and chip balance — for as long as your account exists. A guest profile with no activity for [guest inactivity period] may be deleted.
- Purchase records — for the period required by tax and accounting law: [statutory retention period].
- Server logs — [log retention period], unless needed longer to investigate a security incident.
- Analytics data — [analytics retention period], after which it is deleted or aggregated.
- Support correspondence — [support retention period] after the request is closed.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to processing, to receive your data in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time (which does not affect processing before withdrawal). To exercise these rights, use the in-app settings or write to [email protected]. We answer within one month; we may ask you to confirm that the account is yours.
You can also complain to a supervisory authority. Our lead authority is the Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia (Informacijski pooblaščenec, ip-rs.si); you may also contact the authority in the country where you live.
To delete your account, see Delete account.
9. Children
The Game is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Security
We protect data with encryption in transit, access controls, and server-side safeguards appropriate to the risk. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting you, we will notify you and the authorities as the law requires.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Game evolves. We will post the new version here with a new effective date and, for material changes, notify you in the Game.
